Barbie Ems as nurse didnt really sell well, even it was DAP.
Could be the model before botox injections or the lack of patients and hospital, though.
Just saying, nurse actually didnt sell good. But N&F could sure try another time. Flight Attendant sold well, btw. Nun as well.

Generally I'd guess its costume and girl combined, cosplay alone doenst sell.

I think if you're shooting in a modern home studio, you can't go full "warrior princess" with the fantasy roles and costumes because those things maybe work better in special locations.

Also, it may be worth thinking about costumes which can cheaply and easily be bought or hired online from theatrical costumers or fancy dress stores, and then accessorised with extra touches e.g. blouse, lingerie, shoes to make your own unique costume.

Below are some roles and costumes which I think you can easily work into different stories for shooting in a modern room setting. They're all cheesy and obvious and unoriginal, but porn is not Shakespeare. The stories will always involve pretty women getting into adventures and especially getting into trouble and having wild sex with strangers

If you want to add a bdsm/humiliation storyline then the girl can "make a mistake" in her role as part of the story, resulting in punishment or humiliation. Or she can just meet with badly behaved people, or make bad decisions within the story.

Either the girl(s) or the boy(s) can be in costume for their roles, and the opposite sex can be in everyday clothes playing "normal" people who get drawn into the story. For stories where the boy(s) arrive at the front door of the girls' apartment, the girl may be surprised while she is dressed in only a bathrobe or lingerie

Of course, you need to cast girls and boys who enjoy acting a bit and can bring the scene to life.

Flight attendant - meeting travellers or pilots in a hotel during layover

Examples of roles and costumes For boys: - most of these roles can involve visiting the girl(s) in their apartment.

Security guard or Store detective - arresting a shoplifter maybe?

Fireman/Policeman/Mailman

Plumber/Repairman - fixing her leak?

Delivery guy or Pizza guy

Burglar

Debt collector or Tax inspector - the girl cannot pay, whatever will she do?

Door-to-door Salesman - trying to sell e.g. alcohol or sex toys?

Shady model-agent/manager/gangster

Photographer or paparazzi -

Priest - visits a young lady because he heard she might be pregnant while unmarried (scandal) - she isn't, so he asks if she would like to become pregnant?

Professor - talking to the young lady about her poor grades - what can she do to achieve a pass?

Biker gang

Voyeur/peeping tom

Nosy neighbour

Crazy uncle

I agree with you. The Harley Quinn cosplay is an excellent suggestion and should definitely be used again for other girls as well.
